As this is an event to help improve your overall health and fitness , it would be remiss of  us to not post about your diet over the next couple of weeks in the lead up to the Half Mara!
dIn our Year 6 health class we learnt to    identify main nutrients from each of the five
food groups and worked to understand the role of different nutrients in the body. 

Below in the comments the students have posted their food plan for  a 'healthy day of eating'

Breakfast: 2 slices of toast and 30g of dried fruit
Lunch: egg sandwich with a tomato and a cup of fruit juice also a zucchini
Dinner: 200g of fish with lemon sauce and a salad

Breakfast: A cup of milk, scrambled eggs and a banana
Lunch: aA cup of orange Juice, Sushi and some capsicum.
Dinner: Chicken with rice, vegetables and yogurt.

Breakfast: I don't eat breakfast [ if I feel like it I'll eat some plain toast ] water

Lunch: water , egg mayonnaise sandwich 🥪

Dinner : Pasta bake [ water again hunny] >:)

Breakfast
2 English muffins, 1/2 cup baked beans and 1 poached egg
2 slices of plum
200g yoghurt

Lunch
80g Chicken, 1 slice cheese sandwich
1 cup of salad
1 banana
1/2 cup milk

Dinner
Bolognese Sauce (includes 1/2 cup of fresh tomato, onion, carrot and 65g cooked meat)
1 slice of cheese
1 cup spaghetti
1 cup of cooked vegetables

2 Boiled eggs
2 pieces of toast
1 cup of Milk

Lunch
1 bowl of pasta
Carbonara sauce
Broccoli
I cup of water

Dinner
Pizza
Garlic bread
1 cup of water

.3 slices of bread
.1tablespoon jam
.2 eggs
.30g nuts
.1 cup of milk

Lunch;
.4 wheat biscuits
.1 orange
.40g cheese
.1 medium tomato

Snack;
.1 English muffin

Dinner;
.40g cooked chicken
.60g hard cheese
.200g yoghurt
.1 cup cooked vegetables
.1 potato

(It’s not what I actually eat but it has all the categories of food and the exact severing sizes)

1 tablespoons of strawberry jam
1 egg
Cup of water
Lunch: a cup of orange juice,sushi carrot and strawberries
Dinner bolognaise sauce cup of pasta greated cheese and cup of fresh salad

Dinner: Roast lamb, roast veggies and after dinner I had 1 maltesar
