  1. How has the author used description to show how the character is feeling?
  2. How does the layout help?
  3. Can you write a different ending to the book? Will you change it? Why?
  4. If your story happened in a foreign land, can you compare it to where we live? 
  5. If your story happened long ago, can you compare that time with today?
  6. What is the relationship between the main characters?  and what evidence can you use to support your view?
  7. What motive did the main character have for behaving in the way they did?   Can you explain why…? 
  8. Can you find one word that describes a character in your book very well?
  9. Can you compare this book the last book you read?
  10. Can you list all the characters from  greatest to worst and speicify why they are in the order you have chosen.

  • ​The climax of any book or story is the exciting or interesting part. Tell what you think is the climax of the book and why.
  • Choose an interesting character from your book. Think of what his/her dislikes are; then think of a gift you would like to give him/her. Design a greeting card to go along with the gift in which you explain why you gave that gift.
  • Identify one problem in the book and give an alternate solution one not given by the author
  • Create a recording pretending to interview one of the characters from the book on their experiences. Write questions and their answers OR work with a partner. Record the  interview on Ferrite or Garage Band
