Mr Todd is off again!

It is 11.30pm - I am about to fly!

I have my passport -  with my Chinese Visa,
I have 600  Renminbi which is the currency in China (also called the Yuan)
I have NEW SOCKS!

On this trip I am heading to Chengdu to host the Athletes Village at the World Police and Fire   Games. 

The games is like the Olympics for Police and Fire services, there will be a huge team from Australia competing plus 43 other countries. 

I hosted the Australasian games in October last year and the organisers thought I did a great job of entertaining the crowds so...they invited me to China. 

Over the next week I will post photos and videos of my days and nights in  Chendgu. 

I am excited to visit the Giant Pandas, the world's largest mall and try lots of food with  Sichuan peppercorn which is a spice used on a lot of the dishes.

Ok, It is time to board, I travel to Hong Kong first and then to Chengdu, current temperature at my destination is 36 degrees...don't worry I have got my shorts ready to go.  ;) ​
