When reporting and creating non fiction text, it is vitally important you get the correct information BUT it is also to get fantastic answers to your questions. Asking is simple - you inflect your voice at the end of a sentence like...'Do you like Ice-Cream?'
The answer will either be Yes or No - You have the information BUT is not very interesting. As a reporter/podcaster/interviewer/ life inquirer you should also strive for MORE. Delve deeper into a topic and you will found a whole heap more that will interest you and your listeners/readers.
Your questions should start with open words. "DO" is not open, it will give you a yes or no answer...however if you start with:
